Receptionist
We are looking for a dedicated and detail-oriented Receptionist to join our team on a contract basis in Brooklyn, New York. In this role, you will be the first point of contact for visitors and callers, ensuring a welcoming and organized environment. This position is ideal for someone with excellent communication skills and a strong ability to multitask efficiently.<br><br>Responsibilities:<br>• Greet and assist visitors in a friendly and attentive manner.<br>• Answer and direct incoming phone calls to the appropriate departments or individuals.<br>• Manage and maintain the reception area to ensure it is clean and organized.<br>• Respond to general inquiries and provide accurate information about the organization.<br>• Schedule appointments and coordinate meeting room bookings as needed.<br>• Receive and distribute mail and packages promptly and efficiently.<br>• Maintain accurate records and logs for visitors and communications.<br>• Support administrative staff with clerical tasks as required.<br>• Ensure a high level of customer service is provided to all clients and guests.
• Previous experience as a receptionist or in a customer-facing role is highly preferred.<br>• Strong verbal and written communication skills.<br>• Proficiency in using phone systems and basic office equipment.<br>• Ability to handle multiple tasks and prioritize effectively in a fast-paced environment.<br>• Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.<br>• Friendly and detail-oriented demeanor with a customer-focused attitude.<br>• Basic computer skills, including familiarity with email and scheduling software.<br>• Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information appropriately.
