Front Desk Supervisor
We are looking for a dedicated Front Desk Supervisor to join our team in Larchmont, New York. In this Contract-to-permanent position, you will play a key role in delivering exceptional service to members and guests while managing front desk operations and staff. This is an excellent opportunity for a service-oriented individual who thrives in a dynamic, team-focused environment.<br><br>Responsibilities:<br>• Provide a welcoming and personalized experience for members and guests, ensuring their needs are met with care and discretion.<br>• Address inquiries, concerns, and requests promptly, following up to guarantee satisfaction.<br>• Supervise, train, and evaluate front desk and night staff, including seasonal team members, to maintain high service standards.<br>• Lead a service-driven team, promoting a collaborative and customer-focused culture.<br>• Manage the daily operations of the front desk, including reservations, check-ins, concierge services, and financial transactions.<br>• Maintain a clean, organized, and visually appealing front desk and lobby area.<br>• Implement and enforce front desk policies and procedures to align with the club’s mission and standards.<br>• Ensure all communications with members are accurate, timely, and consistent with the organization's brand.<br>• Prepare daily event sheets, collaborating with other departments to ensure seamless operations and member satisfaction.<br>• Provide ongoing coaching and performance feedback to staff, encouraging cross-training and skill development.
• Proven experience in customer service or front desk management, preferably in a hospitality or club setting.<br>• Strong leadership skills with the ability to supervise and motivate a team effectively.<br>• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to build positive relationships with members, guests, and staff.<br>• Proficiency in handling administrative tasks, including scheduling and managing reservations.<br>• Ability to handle financial transactions and maintain accurate records.<br>• Skilled in answering inbound calls and addressing inquiries professionally.<br>• Detail-oriented with a focus on maintaining an organized and visually appealing workspace.<br>• Adaptable and able to thrive in a fast-paced, service-oriented environment.
