A strategic role
Robert Half’s executive search team helped the CEO of a global paper company’s U.S. division hire a Mandarin-speaking CFO to provide financial leadership and guide its growth.
Due to the facility’s rural location and limited number of qualified local candidates, we widened the search to include the nearest large metropolitan area.
We located a remote candidate with industry experience who is familiar with international accounting practices and within a 4-hour drive of the facility, who could accommodate a 13-hour time difference to liaise with the management team in China.
A complex business
A family-owned real estate financial services company chose Robert Half to help them hire a CFO to partner with their leadership team and manage day-to-day financial aspects for 150 project LLCs.
The executive search team met with stakeholders to understand their unique needs, developed a position profile outlining the characteristics of the person best suited for the position and identified several local candidates.
Our team pinpointed a high-level CPA with land development experience who could relocate near the company’s central Florida headquarters and helped negotiate an offer.
A Real Estate Investment Trust with a nationwide portfolio of mall properties sought to generate value for its stakeholders through ESG programs.
A VP-level role
Robert Half’s team found that candidates who met the search criteria were overqualified for a director-level role; we recommended elevating the position to a VP to attract the top local candidate.
We located a leader with specialized functional skills and technical knowledge who also fit the company’s culture and possessed the necessary experience to successfully lead the client’s ESG efforts.
Added ESG expertise
Our executive search team helped a global consulting firm build its bench of ESG professionals who could shape strategy and to help its corporate clients advance their ESG programs, policies and procedures.
A well-rounded team
We reached out to a highly selective group of contacts and assembled a slate of candidates with a range of ESG skillsets, experiences and locations; after further discussion the client opted to add three roles at the same time.
With Robert Half’s help, the client now has a strong ESG consulting practice and is positioned to help its clients across many industries navigate their ESG strategies.
"We appreciate your diligence and counsel and we look forward to announcing this addition to our executive management team."
A unique role
Robert Half helped an advertising agency focused on multicultural and African American markets conduct a confidential search to replace its departing Chief Creative Officer.
We conducted a nationwide search and located strong creative leaders who also had a solid background in multicultural and African American marketing and advertising. After recruiting the ideal individual, we helped negotiate the employment contract, compensation and relocation terms.
