HR Coordinator
We are looking for a dedicated HR Coordinator to join our team in Glen Head, New York, on a long-term contract basis. In this role, you will provide essential support for various HR functions, including onboarding, compliance, and administrative tasks. This position offers the opportunity to contribute to a non-profit organization while working on-site for 35 hours per week.<br><br>Responsibilities:<br>• Maintain organized records by handling both digital and paper filing systems.<br>• Input and update new employee information accurately into the HR system.<br>• Conduct thorough reference checks for prospective employees.<br>• Support onboarding processes to ensure smooth transitions for new team members.<br>• Assist in ensuring compliance with HR policies and procedures.<br>• Collaborate with team members to address HR-related administrative needs.<br>• Provide general support for HR operations as required.<br>• Monitor and maintain confidentiality of sensitive employee information.<br>• Ensure timely completion of HR-related documentation and reporting.<br>• Coordinate with relevant departments for seamless integration of new staff.
• Proven experience in HR administration or a related role.<br>• Familiarity with onboarding processes and procedures.<br>• Knowledge of HR compliance standards and practices.<br>• Proficiency in using HRIS or similar human resources information systems.<br>• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.<br>• Ability to conduct background and reference checks effectively.<br>• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.<br>• Capacity to handle sensitive information with discretion.
