We are looking for an experienced Worker’s Compensation Specialist to join our team on a contract basis in Jersey City, New Jersey. In this role, you will play a key part in overseeing workers' compensation claims across the country, collaborating with third-party administrators and field teams to ensure effective claims management. This position is ideal for someone with expertise in workers' compensation processes and a strong understanding of related regulations.<br><br>Responsibilities:<br>• Collaborate with third-party administrators (TPAs) to oversee workers' compensation claims nationwide, ensuring proper claims handling and settlement processes.<br>• Partner with field operations teams to collect necessary documentation to support investigations and claim adjustments.<br>• Assist with claims-related reporting, exposure analysis, certificate of insurance management, and invoice processing.<br>• Monitor workers' compensation analytics to identify trends, investigate discrepancies, and implement strategies to improve claims handling.<br>• Review reserve amounts and settlement proposals to ensure accuracy and appropriateness.<br>• Develop and maintain processes that enhance the quality of workers' compensation file management.<br>• Provide guidance and support on workers' compensation-related inquiries and compliance matters.
• Proven experience in workers' compensation claims management and related administrative processes.<br>• Strong knowledge of relevant regulations and standards, including FMLA.<br>• Ability to analyze data and identify trends to improve operational efficiency.<br>• Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail when handling documentation and reports.<br>• Proficiency in managing certificates of insurance and exposure analyses.<br>• Effective communication and collaboration skills to work with TPAs and field teams.<br>• Familiarity with invoice processing and claims reporting systems.
