We are looking for an experienced and dedicated Human Resources (HR) Director to join a busy plastic surgery practice in West Hollywood, California. This long-term contract position involves overseeing all HR functions for a team of 21 employees, ensuring smooth operations in payroll, compliance, and employee relations. The role requires a confident leader who can effectively manage diverse personalities while fostering a detail-oriented and solutions-driven work environment. Responsibilities: • Oversee employee relations, providing support and resolving conflicts across diverse communication styles. • Coordinate payroll processes, acting as the main point of contact for the outsourced payroll team. • Prepare and manage accurate submission of hourly timesheets and payroll data. • Administer employee contracts, offer letters, and HR-related documentation with precision. • Ensure compliance with employment laws, internal policies, and regulatory requirements. • Address escalated issues with a detail-oriented and solutions-oriented approach. • Guide employees and leadership on HR policies and best practices. • Track and update changes to compensation, job duties, and employee status. • Maintain confidentiality when handling sensitive HR information. • Assist leadership with special projects and additional HR tasks as needed.

• A minimum of 5 years of experience in human resources, ideally within healthcare, aesthetics, or similar industries. • Proficiency in payroll coordination and experience working with outsourced payroll teams. • Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to navigate and resolve conflicts diplomatically. • Exceptional organizational skills and attention to detail. • Detail-oriented approach and emotional intelligence to handle sensitive situations effectively. • Familiarity with HRIS systems and onboarding processes. • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, patient-focused environment. • Knowledge of employment laws and regulatory compliance.
