Administrative Assistant
We are looking for an Administrative Assistant to join our team on a contract basis in San Diego, California. In this role, you will provide essential administrative support to ensure smooth operations, including assisting students, managing documents, and facilitating event logistics. This position offers an opportunity to contribute to a dynamic environment while honing organizational and communication skills.<br><br>Responsibilities:<br>• Assist students with completing application forms and ensure accuracy in documentation.<br>• Manage inbound calls and provide thorough responses to inquiries.<br>• Perform general office administrative tasks, including data entry and document organization.<br>• Support the planning and coordination of a large conference event.<br>• Handle receptionist duties such as welcoming guests and maintaining a positive office atmosphere.<br>• Collaborate on ad hoc projects as assigned to support team objectives.<br>• Maintain accurate records for timesheets and invoices.<br>• Provide coverage for team members on leave to ensure continuity in operations.
• Proven experience in administrative assistance or a similar role.<br>• Strong ability to manage inbound calls and communicate effectively.<br>• Proficiency in data entry and maintaining accurate records.<br>• Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.<br>• Ability to engage with students and assist with application processes.<br>• Familiarity with receptionist duties and maintaining a meticulous demeanor.<br>• Flexibility to support event coordination and ad hoc projects.<br>• Demonstrated ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing priorities.
