We are looking for an experienced Payroll Specialist to join our team in Santa Ana, California. This is a long-term contract position offering the opportunity to contribute to the efficient management of payroll operations for a growing organization. The ideal candidate will bring expertise in full-cycle payroll and certified payroll processes, ensuring accuracy and compliance with all regulations. Responsibilities: • Process full-cycle payroll for approximately 130 employees, ensuring timely and accurate payments. • Manage certified payroll operations, including the preparation and submission of required documentation. • Utilize ADP Workforce Now to maintain payroll records and troubleshoot system-related issues. • Handle payroll for unionized employees, ensuring compliance with union agreements and regulations. • Assist with payroll system transitions and process improvements to enhance efficiency. • Reconcile payroll accounts and resolve discrepancies in a timely manner. • Collaborate with internal teams to ensure payroll data integrity and compliance with company policies. • Provide support for audits and reporting requirements related to payroll operations. • Train and support new payroll personnel to maintain continuity in processes.

• Proven experience in full-cycle payroll processing. • Proficiency in ADP Workforce Now or similar payroll software. • Strong knowledge of certified payroll requirements and procedures. • Experience managing payroll for unionized employees. • Familiarity with payroll-related compliance regulations and reporting standards. • Ability to handle payroll system transitions effectively. • Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills. • Strong communication abilities to interact with team members and external stakeholders.
