Payroll Specialist
We are looking for an experienced Payroll Specialist to join our team in Santa Ana, California. This is a long-term contract position offering the opportunity to contribute to the efficient management of payroll operations for a growing organization. The ideal candidate will bring expertise in full-cycle payroll and certified payroll processes, ensuring accuracy and compliance with all regulations.<br><br>Responsibilities:<br>• Process full-cycle payroll for approximately 130 employees, ensuring timely and accurate payments.<br>• Manage certified payroll operations, including the preparation and submission of required documentation.<br>• Utilize ADP Workforce Now to maintain payroll records and troubleshoot system-related issues.<br>• Handle payroll for unionized employees, ensuring compliance with union agreements and regulations.<br>• Assist with payroll system transitions and process improvements to enhance efficiency.<br>• Reconcile payroll accounts and resolve discrepancies in a timely manner.<br>• Collaborate with internal teams to ensure payroll data integrity and compliance with company policies.<br>• Provide support for audits and reporting requirements related to payroll operations.<br>• Train and support new payroll personnel to maintain continuity in processes.
• Proven experience in full-cycle payroll processing.<br>• Proficiency in ADP Workforce Now or similar payroll software.<br>• Strong knowledge of certified payroll requirements and procedures.<br>• Experience managing payroll for unionized employees.<br>• Familiarity with payroll-related compliance regulations and reporting standards.<br>• Ability to handle payroll system transitions effectively.<br>• Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills.<br>• Strong communication abilities to interact with team members and external stakeholders.
