Front Desk Coordinator
We are looking for a Front Desk Coordinator to join our team in White Plains, New York. This is a contract position requiring excellent organizational skills, strong communication abilities, and a proactive approach to managing front desk operations. The ideal candidate will serve as the first point of contact for visitors and callers, ensuring a welcoming and attentive experience.<br><br>Responsibilities:<br>• Greet and assist visitors with a friendly and attentive demeanor.<br>• Manage a multi-line phone system, including answering and directing inbound calls promptly.<br>• Provide concierge services, addressing inquiries and coordinating requests as needed.<br>• Handle receptionist duties, including maintaining the front desk area and ensuring smooth daily operations.<br>• Monitor and manage the switchboard for up to 10 phone lines, ensuring efficient call handling.<br>• Maintain accurate records and documentation related to front desk activities.<br>• Coordinate with internal teams to support administrative tasks and communication efforts.<br>• Ensure the reception area remains organized and presentable at all times.<br>• Offer support for scheduling and appointment management when required.
• Proven experience in receptionist or front desk roles, preferably in a fast-paced environment.<br>• Proficiency in managing multi-line phone systems and switchboards.<br>• Strong organizational skills with attention to detail.<br>• Excellent verbal and written communication abilities.<br>• Familiarity with concierge services and customer service best practices.<br>• Ability to multitask and prioritize effectively under pressure.<br>• Detail-oriented appearance and demeanor.<br>• Competence in using office equipment and basic software applications.
