<p>We are looking for an experienced Payroll Supervisor, Manager for the NW suburbs. This role is ideal for someone with strong expertise in overseeing payroll functions for nearly a billion-dollar organization. Ensuring compliance with multi-state regulations and tax laws. If you are interested, please reach out to Steve Cashman on LinkedIn or call Steve at 612.446.5690</p><p><br></p><p>Responsibilities:</p><p>• Oversee and manage full-cycle payroll operations for a workforce of 500+ employees.</p><p>• Ensure compliance with multi-state wage and hour laws, tax regulations, and reporting requirements.</p><p>• Utilize PeopleSoft Payroll or a comparable payroll system to process bi-monthly payroll accurately.</p><p>• Lead efforts to improve payroll processes, including automation initiatives and system enhancements.</p><p>• Collaborate with HR and accounting teams to ensure seamless integration of payroll data.</p><p>• Provide leadership and guidance to payroll staff, fostering a culture of accuracy and efficiency.</p><p>• Prepare detailed payroll reports and analyses to support organizational decision-making.</p><p>• Monitor payroll systems for accuracy and troubleshoot any discrepancies or issues.</p><p>• Stay informed about changes in tax laws and labor regulations to ensure ongoing compliance.</p><p>• Assist with tax filings using services such as ADP or equivalent platforms.</p>

• Minimum of 5 years of progressive payroll experience, including handling multi-state payroll.<br>• Strong knowledge of wage and hour laws, tax rules, and payroll compliance standards.<br>• Proficiency with PeopleSoft Payroll or similar payroll systems.<br>• Demonstrated ability to manage payroll for mid-sized organizations (500+ employees).<br>• High proficiency in Microsoft Excel and other Microsoft 365 applications.<br>• Excellent analytical, organizational, and leadership skills.<br>• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, HR, Business, or related field, or equivalent experience preferred.<br>• Familiarity with tax filing services such as ADP or similar platforms.
