Receptionist
We are looking for a dedicated Receptionist to join our team on a contract basis in Paterson, New Jersey. In this role, you will act as the first point of contact for visitors and callers, ensuring smooth communication and providing excellent customer service. This position requires strong organizational skills and the ability to handle multiple phone lines efficiently.<br><br>Responsibilities:<br>• Greet and assist visitors upon arrival, ensuring a welcoming and attentive experience.<br>• Manage incoming calls using a switchboard system with 1-10 phone lines, directing inquiries to the appropriate departments.<br>• Maintain a clean and organized reception area to create a positive first impression.<br>• Coordinate with internal teams to ensure messages and communications are relayed accurately and promptly.<br>• Handle administrative tasks such as scheduling appointments, managing calendars, and maintaining records.<br>• Monitor office supplies and coordinate replenishment as needed.<br>• Provide information and assistance to callers and visitors regarding company services or procedures.<br>• Support other departments with clerical tasks when necessary.<br>• Ensure adherence to company policies and procedures while handling sensitive information.
• Minimum of 1 year of experience in a receptionist or similar role.<br>• Proficiency in managing switchboard systems with 1-10 phone lines.<br>• Strong organizational and multitasking abilities.<br>• Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.<br>• Ability to remain detail oriented in high-pressure situations.<br>• Familiarity with basic administrative tools and software.<br>• High attention to detail and accuracy.<br>• Commitment to providing exceptional customer service.
