Receptionist
We are looking for a driven and organized Receptionist to join our team in New York, New York. This contract-to-permanent position requires someone who is detail oriented, thrives in a fast-paced environment, and excels in providing exceptional support to visitors and team members. The ideal candidate will serve as the first point of contact, ensuring smooth day-to-day operations and delivering outstanding service.<br><br>Responsibilities:<br>• Welcome and assist visitors, vendors, and members, directing them to the appropriate personnel or departments.<br>• Manage incoming calls using a multi-line phone system, ensuring prompt and courteous communication.<br>• Organize and distribute mail, deliveries, and correspondence while maintaining efficient administrative processes.<br>• Monitor and replenish office supplies to maintain adequate inventory levels.<br>• Provide support for special administrative projects and overflow tasks from other departments.<br>• Maintain effective communication with team members to ensure seamless collaboration.<br>• Operate office equipment and utilize software tools, including Microsoft Office and Teams, to complete tasks efficiently.<br>• Handle challenging interactions with a positive attitude.<br>• Assist with general clerical duties to support the overall functionality of the office.
• At least 2 years of experience in a receptionist or similar role.<br>• Proficiency in managing multi-line phone systems and handling inbound calls.<br>• Strong organizational and time management skills with the ability to multitask effectively.<br>• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for engaging with visitors and team members.<br>• Confidence in handling challenging situations with professionalism and positivity.<br>• Familiarity with office equipment and software tools, particularly Microsoft Office and Teams.<br>• Ability to work efficiently under pressure while maintaining accuracy.<br>• A proactive approach to completing tasks and supporting team objectives.
