<p>We are looking for an experienced HR Director to lead and oversee all human resources functions for the City of New Rochelle. This pivotal role requires a strategic leader with a deep knowledge of HR administration, labor relations, and compliance with federal and state regulations. The HR Director will be instrumental in managing labor negotiations, implementing affirmative action policies, overseeing employee benefits programs, and driving workforce development initiatives. This position requires a seasoned professional adept at fostering positive relationships with unions and stakeholders while ensuring the smooth operation of the Personnel Department.</p>

<ul><li>Proven experience in human resources management, preferably in a public sector or municipal environment.</li><li>Comprehensive knowledge of labor relations, including negotiation strategies and contract administration.</li><li>Familiarity with affirmative action policies and compliance with federal and state employment regulations.</li><li>Expertise in managing employee benefits programs and compensation structures.</li><li>Demonstrated ability to lead and manage teams effectively, with strong organizational skills to prioritize multiple deadlines.</li><li>Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for resolving grievances and engaging stakeholders effectively.</li><li>Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field; advanced degree or certifications are a plus.</li></ul><p><br></p>
