We are looking for a dedicated Cash Processing Teller to join our team in Broadview, Illinois. In this contract role, you will play a vital part in ensuring the accurate handling of customer deposits, transactions, and change orders. This position offers a dynamic work environment where attention to detail and independent decision-making are essential.<br><br>Responsibilities:<br>• Verify assigned tasks and inspect deposit bags to ensure the integrity of contents.<br>• Process customer deposits and resolve discrepancies in out-of-balance conditions.<br>• Ensure compliance with organizational policies and state and federal regulations.<br>• Detect counterfeit currency, suspicious activity, and other security concerns, promptly reporting them to supervisors.<br>• Maintain productivity standards for deposit processing and cash handling.<br>• Conduct cash settlements and transfer funds to appropriate vaults for safekeeping.<br>• Identify potential areas for process improvement and recommend solutions.<br>• Work independently while maintaining a high standard of accuracy and efficiency.

• Proficiency in cash applications and accounts receivable processes.<br>• Demonstrated experience in posting payments and reconciling transactions.<br>• Strong knowledge of cash handling and payment processing procedures.<br>• Ability to identify and report counterfeit currency and suspicious activity.<br>• Familiarity with compliance standards related to financial transactions.<br>• Exceptional attention to detail and accuracy in record-keeping.<br>• Effective problem-solving skills and ability to work without direct supervision.<br>• Previous experience in a similar role is preferred.
