<p>We are looking for a detail-oriented Cash Processing Teller to join our team on a contract basis in Broadview, Illinois. In this role, you will efficiently process customer deposits and transactions while maintaining a high level of accuracy and security. This position offers a day shift schedule, Monday through Friday, with occasional overtime opportunities.</p><p><br></p><p>Responsibilities:</p><p>• Verify assigned work and inspect deposit bags to ensure they are secure and free from tampering.</p><p>• Process customer deposits and address any discrepancies or out-of-balance situations.</p><p>• Adhere to company policies and follow all applicable state and federal regulations.</p><p>• Detect counterfeit currency and identify suspicious activities, reporting them promptly to a supervisor.</p><p>• Achieve or exceed productivity targets for deposit processing tasks.</p><p>• Ensure cash settlements are accurate and transfer funds to designated vaults.</p><p>• Monitor workflows and recommend opportunities for process improvements.</p><p>• Work independently with minimal supervision to complete assigned tasks efficiently.</p><p><br></p><p>The salary range for this position is $17/hr to $18/hr. Benefits available to contract/temporary professionals, include medical, vision, dental, and life and disability insurance. Hired contract/temporary professionals are also eligible to enroll in our company 401(k) plan. Visit <u>roberthalf.gobenefits.net</u> for more information. • Proven experience in cash applications, accounts receivable, or similar roles.<br>• Skilled in posting and reconciling payments accurately.<br>• Strong attention to detail and ability to handle large volumes of transactions.<br>• Familiarity with identifying counterfeit currency and suspicious activities.<br>• Excellent organizational and time management skills.<br>• Ability to work independently while meeting productivity standards.<br>• Knowledge of compliance regulations related to cash handling and processing.
