<p>We are looking for a Cash Processing Teller to join our team on a contract basis in Broadview, Illinois. In this role, you will be responsible for ensuring the secure and accurate handling of customer deposits, transactions, and currency processing. This position requires a high level of attention to detail and the ability to work independently while meeting productivity standards.</p><p><br></p><p>Responsibilities:</p><p>• Verify assigned deposits and inspect deposit bags to ensure there are no signs of tampering.</p><p>• Process customer deposits and resolve any discrepancies or out-of-balance conditions.</p><p>• Maintain strict adherence to company policies and comply with state and federal regulations.</p><p>• Detect counterfeit currency, monitor suspicious activities, and promptly report concerns to supervisors.</p><p>• Prepare change orders and ensure accurate cash settlements before transferring funds to vaults.</p><p>• Meet productivity benchmarks and deadlines for deposit processing tasks.</p><p>• Identify and recommend opportunities for improving operational processes.</p><p>• Work independently and efficiently without requiring constant supervision.</p><p><br></p><p>The salary range for this position is $17 to $18. Benefits available to contract/temporary professionals, include medical, vision, dental, and life and disability insurance. Hired contract/temporary professionals are also eligible to enroll in our company 401(k) plan. Visit <u>roberthalf.gobenefits.net</u> for more information. • Proven experience in cash applications, accounts receivable, or similar payment processing roles.<br>• Strong skills in posting payments and handling cash transactions accurately.<br>• Familiarity with identifying counterfeit currency and adhering to security protocols.<br>• Ability to reconcile financial discrepancies and maintain detailed records.<br>• Knowledge of relevant regulations related to cash handling and financial transactions.<br>• Exceptional attention to detail and ability to meet productivity standards.<br>• Comfortable working independently and managing tasks with minimal supervision.
