<p>We are looking for a detail-oriented Cash Processing Teller to join our team in Broadview, Illinois. As part of this contract position, you will ensure the accurate handling of customer deposits, including currency, coins, and checks, while maintaining compliance with company policies and regulations. This is a permanent position during day shifts, Monday through Friday, with occasional overtime opportunities.</p><p><br></p><p>Responsibilities:</p><p>• Verify assigned work and inspect deposit bags to ensure they are intact and untampered.</p><p>• Process customer deposits accurately and resolve any discrepancies or out-of-balance issues.</p><p>• Maintain compliance with all company policies, state, and federal regulations during deposit handling.</p><p>• Identify counterfeit currency or suspicious activity and promptly report findings to a supervisor.</p><p>• Achieve productivity standards for deposit processing and meet established benchmarks.</p><p>• Verify cash settlements and ensure funds are transferred to the correct vault locations.</p><p>• Recognize and communicate opportunities for improving operational processes.</p><p>• Work independently, ensuring tasks are completed efficiently without direct supervision.</p><p><br></p><p>The salary range for this position is $17/hr to $18/hr. Benefits available to contract/temporary professionals, include medical, vision, dental, and life and disability insurance. Hired contract/temporary professionals are also eligible to enroll in our company 401(k) plan. Visit <u>roberthalf.gobenefits.net</u> for more information. • Experience in cash applications, including handling deposits and payments.<br>• Proficiency in accounts receivable (AR) processes and payment posting.<br>• Familiarity with cash posting and reconciliation techniques.<br>• Ability to identify counterfeit currency and suspicious activities.<br>• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.<br>• Knowledge of compliance standards related to cash handling.<br>• Capacity to work independently while maintaining accuracy and efficiency.
