<p>We are looking for a skilled Cash Processing Teller to join our team in Broadview, Illinois. In this contract position, you will play a vital role in handling customer deposits, preparing change orders, and ensuring accurate transactions. This role requires attention to detail, adherence to regulations, and the ability to work independently during the day shift, Monday through Friday.</p><p><br></p><p>Responsibilities:</p><p>• Inspect deposit bags thoroughly to ensure their integrity and detect any signs of tampering.</p><p>• Process incoming deposits and resolve discrepancies to maintain balanced accounts.</p><p>• Follow company policies and adhere to state and federal regulations governing cash handling.</p><p>• Identify counterfeit currency or suspicious activity and promptly report findings to a supervisor.</p><p>• Achieve productivity goals by efficiently processing deposits and transactions.</p><p>• Verify cash settlements and transfer funds securely to designated vaults.</p><p>• Suggest improvements to enhance operational processes and workflows.</p><p>• Work independently to complete assigned tasks without direct supervision.</p><p><br></p><p>The salary range for this position is $17/hr to $18/hr. Benefits available to contract/temporary professionals, include medical, vision, dental, and life and disability insurance. Hired contract/temporary professionals are also eligible to enroll in our company 401(k) plan. Visit <u>roberthalf.gobenefits.net</u> for more information. • Proven experience in cash applications or related fields.<br>• Familiarity with accounts receivable (AR) processes and procedures.<br>• Proficiency in posting payments and handling cash transactions.<br>• Strong attention to detail and ability to identify irregularities in deposits.<br>• Knowledge of compliance standards for cash handling and reporting.<br>• Ability to work efficiently and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.<br>• Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to reconcile discrepancies.<br>• Strong communication skills for reporting and collaboration.
