<p>We are looking for a detail-oriented Cash Processing Teller to join our team in Broadview, Illinois. In this contract position, you will play a critical role in ensuring the accuracy and security of cash transactions, deposits, and records. This role requires a high level of precision and a commitment to meeting productivity standards, with occasional overtime during weekday shifts.</p><p><br></p><p>Responsibilities:</p><p>• Inspect deposit bags for tampering and verify assigned work to ensure accuracy.</p><p>• Process deposits and resolve any discrepancies or out-of-balance conditions.</p><p>• Ensure compliance with company policies, as well as state and federal regulations.</p><p>• Identify counterfeit currency and suspicious activities, promptly reporting issues to supervisors.</p><p>• Meet or exceed established productivity standards for handling deposits and transactions.</p><p>• Verify cash settlements and facilitate the transfer of funds to designated vaults.</p><p>• Monitor processes and suggest opportunities for operational improvements.</p><p>• Work independently to complete tasks without direct supervision.</p><p><br></p><p>The salary range for this position is $17/hr to $18/hr. Benefits available to contract/temporary professionals, include medical, vision, dental, and life and disability insurance. Hired contract/temporary professionals are also eligible to enroll in our company 401(k) plan. Visit <u>roberthalf.gobenefits.net</u> for more information. • Proficiency in cash applications and handling financial transactions.<br>• Experience in accounts receivable and posting payments.<br>• Strong skills in cash posting and processing cash payments.<br>• Ability to accurately reconcile deposits and resolve discrepancies.<br>• Familiarity with identifying counterfeit currency and suspicious activity.<br>• Knowledge of relevant state and federal regulations.<br>• Exceptional attention to detail and organizational skills.<br>• Capacity to work independently and manage time effectively.
