We are looking for a dedicated Cash Processing Teller to join our team in Broadview, Illinois. In this contract position, you will focus on ensuring the secure and accurate handling of customer deposits, including currency, coins, and checks. This role requires attention to detail, adherence to regulations, and the ability to work independently while maintaining high productivity standards. Responsibilities:• Verify assigned tasks and thoroughly inspect deposit bags to detect any signs of tampering.• Process customer deposits and resolve discrepancies in out-of-balance conditions.• Ensure compliance with organizational policies as well as state and federal regulations.• Identify counterfeit currency or suspicious activities and report them promptly to supervisors.• Meet or exceed established productivity benchmarks for deposit processing.• Reconcile cash settlements and transfer funds securely to appropriate vault locations.• Recognize and suggest improvements to existing processes to enhance efficiency.• Perform duties independently, demonstrating reliability and attention to detail.
