<p>We are looking for a dedicated Cash Processing Teller to join our team in Broadview, Illinois. In this contract position, you will play an essential role in ensuring the accurate handling of customer deposits, transactions, and records. This position operates during day shifts from Monday to Friday, with occasional overtime.</p><p><br></p><p>Responsibilities:</p><p>• Verify assigned tasks and inspect deposit bags to ensure they are secure and untampered.</p><p>• Process customer deposits and resolve any discrepancies or out-of-balance conditions.</p><p>• Ensure compliance with company policies, as well as state and federal regulations.</p><p>• Detect counterfeit currency and suspicious activities, and promptly report them to a supervisor.</p><p>• Meet or exceed established productivity benchmarks for deposit processing.</p><p>• Reconcile cash settlements and transfer funds securely to designated vaults.</p><p>• Identify areas for process improvement and share recommendations with the team.</p><p>• Perform job responsibilities independently, without direct supervision.</p><p><br></p><p>The salary range for this position is $17/hr to $18/hr. Benefits available to contract/temporary professionals, include medical, vision, dental, and life and disability insurance. Hired contract/temporary professionals are also eligible to enroll in our company 401(k) plan. Visit <u>roberthalf.gobenefits.net</u> for more information. • Proficiency in cash applications and handling high volumes of transactions.<br>• Experience in accounts receivable processes and payment posting.<br>• Familiarity with posting payments and managing cash settlements.<br>• Strong attention to detail and ability to identify discrepancies.<br>• Knowledge of compliance standards related to financial transactions.<br>• Ability to work independently and manage tasks efficiently.<br>• Effective communication skills for reporting and collaboration.
