<p>We are looking for a detail-oriented Cash Processing Teller to join our team in Broadview, Illinois. In this contract position, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the accuracy and security of financial transactions, including handling customer deposits and preparing change orders. This is a permanent opportunity, working Monday through Friday during the day shift, with occasional overtime.</p><p><br></p><p>Responsibilities:</p><p>• Verify assigned work and inspect deposit bags for signs of tampering or irregularities.</p><p>• Process customer deposits and reconcile any discrepancies or out-of-balance conditions.</p><p>• Ensure compliance with company policies as well as state and federal regulations.</p><p>• Detect counterfeit currency and suspicious activities, promptly reporting them to supervisors.</p><p>• Meet or exceed productivity standards set for deposit processing tasks.</p><p>• Confirm cash settlements and transfer funds securely to designated vaults.</p><p>• Identify opportunities for improving workflows and share recommendations with the team.</p><p>• Work independently while maintaining high accuracy and attention to detail.</p><p><br></p><p>The salary range for this position is $17/hr to $18/hr. Benefits available to contract/temporary professionals, include medical, vision, dental, and life and disability insurance. Hired contract/temporary professionals are also eligible to enroll in our company 401(k) plan. Visit <u>roberthalf.gobenefits.net</u> for more information. • Proven experience in cash applications and payment processing.<br>• Familiarity with accounts receivable (AR) procedures.<br>• Expertise in posting payments and managing cash transactions.<br>• Strong attention to detail and ability to identify discrepancies.<br>• Knowledge of compliance regulations related to financial transactions.<br>• Ability to work efficiently under minimal supervision.<br>• Effective communication and reporting skills.<br>• Prior experience in handling large volumes of currency and checks.
