We are looking for a skilled Contracts Attorney to join our team on a long-term contract basis in Warwick, Rhode Island. This position offers an exciting opportunity to handle complex legal matters, including drafting, reviewing, and negotiating various contracts and agreements. The role requires a detail-oriented individual who can provide expert legal advice and collaborate effectively with internal and external stakeholders.<br><br>Responsibilities:<br>• Draft, review, and negotiate diverse contracts, including services agreements, construction contracts, and other commercial arrangements.<br>• Conduct in-depth legal research and prepare clear, actionable memoranda tailored to non-legal audiences.<br>• Collaborate with the Senior Vice President of Legal and HR to coordinate with external legal counsel on litigation matters.<br>• Review and draft responses to legal pleadings and manage discovery requests in coordination with external counsel.<br>• Provide strategic legal guidance to support organizational goals and ensure compliance with applicable laws.<br>• Analyze complex legal issues and deliver recommendations that align with business objectives.<br>• Ensure all contracts and agreements meet regulatory standards and organizational policies.<br>• Work closely with cross-functional teams to address legal concerns and mitigate potential risks.<br>• Maintain thorough documentation of legal activities and decisions for future reference.<br>• Stay updated on relevant laws and regulations to provide accurate and timely advice.

• Must be a licensed attorney with active credentials.<br>• Proven experience in drafting, reviewing, and negotiating contracts.<br>• Strong knowledge of contract law and commercial agreements.<br>• Excellent legal research and analytical skills.<br>• Ability to communicate complex legal concepts to individuals without a legal background.<br>• Experience collaborating with external legal counsel on litigation matters.<br>• Ability to manage multiple priorities effectively with a strong attention to detail.<br>• Familiarity with construction contracts and services agreements is a plus.
