Trust & Estate Tax Attorney
<p>We are partnering with a law firm that's looking for a skilled Trust & Estate Tax Attorney to join a law firm in the Greater Worcester area. This role offers an exciting opportunity to apply your expertise in tax law within the trust and estate practice area. The ideal candidate will bring strong analytical skills and a deep understanding of estate planning and taxation to help our clients navigate complex legal matters.</p><p><br></p><p>Responsibilities:</p><p>• Provide legal advice and representation to clients in trust and estate tax matters.</p><p>• Draft and review estate planning documents, including wills, trusts, and related agreements.</p><p>• Ensure compliance with federal and state tax laws and regulations.</p><p>• Collaborate with clients to develop strategies for minimizing estate and gift taxes.</p><p>• Conduct research on tax and estate law to support case strategies.</p><p>• Prepare and file fiduciary and estate tax returns accurately and on time.</p><p>• Utilize Wealth Counsel and other software tools to create legal documents and manage cases.</p><p>• Stay informed about changes in tax legislation and advise clients accordingly.</p><p>• Work closely with other attorneys and staff to deliver exceptional client service.</p>
<p>• Active Massachusetts attorney license required.</p><p>• Minimum of 3 years of experience in trust and estate tax law.</p><p>• Proficiency in using Wealth Counsel or similar legal software.</p><p>• Strong knowledge of estate planning and taxation principles.</p><p>• LL.M in Taxation is preferred but not required.</p><p>• Exceptional written and verbal communication skills.</p><p>• Ability to manage multiple cases and deadlines effectively.</p><p>• Detail-oriented with excellent organizational abilities.</p>
