<p>Our client, a leading national litigation law firm, is seeking an experienced Litigation Attorney to join their team and contribute to a busy and collaborative practice focused on insurance defense and professional liability matters. This role is ideal for a self-driven attorney who is comfortable taking ownership of complex cases, communicating directly with clients, and working closely with colleagues across multiple offices.</p><p><br></p><p><strong>Location: </strong>Boston, MA </p><p><strong>Schedule:</strong> Hybrid (3 days in, 2 days remote)</p><p><strong>Salary:</strong> $170,000 - $190,000 (depending on experience)</p><p><br></p><p><strong>Responsibilities: </strong></p><ul><li>Take independent responsibility for a varied docket of litigation matters, guiding each case through all stages of the process.</li><li>Conduct in-depth legal research and analysis involving transportation laws, regulations, and applicable legal standards.</li><li>Draft high-quality pleadings, motions, briefs, memoranda, and other litigation documents.</li><li>Participate in court hearings, depositions, mediations, and other key litigation events.</li><li>Negotiate settlements and agreements on behalf of clients, demonstrating strong advocacy, judgment, and negotiation skills.</li><li>Work collaboratively with attorneys and staff across departments and offices to support a cohesive, team-oriented environment.</li><li>Prepare detailed case analyses and reports for clients, with a focus on developing strategic, proactive resolution plans.</li></ul>

<p><strong>Requirements: </strong></p><ul><li>Juris Doctor (JD) from an accredited law school.</li><li>Active admission to practice in Massachusetts.</li><li>5 or more years’ experience in insurance defense, general liability, or professional liability matters.</li><li>Demonstrated experience with deposition practice and trial preparation.</li><li>Exceptional written and verbal communication skills.</li><li>Proficiency in conducting paper discovery, taking and defending depositions, engaging in motion practice, and preparing analytical reports.</li><li>Familiarity with electronic filing systems and related litigation technologies preferred.</li></ul>
