We are looking for an experienced attorney specializing in intellectual property and licensing agreements to contribute to a dynamic team in Cambridge, Massachusetts. This is a contract position that requires expertise in drafting and negotiating agreements related to innovative technologies. Candidates with a background in the biotech industry will have a distinct advantage.<br><br>Responsibilities:<br>• Collaborate with intellectual property counsel to develop comprehensive licensing agreements for proprietary technologies.<br>• Draft, review, and negotiate complex contracts to ensure legal compliance and alignment with business objectives.<br>• Provide expert advice on intellectual property matters, including licensing strategies and risk assessment.<br>• Conduct thorough research to address legal challenges in the biotech sector.<br>• Ensure all agreements meet regulatory standards and protect organizational interests.<br>• Partner with cross-functional teams to align legal strategies with business goals.<br>• Analyze existing licensing frameworks to recommend improvements.<br>• Stay up-to-date with relevant laws and regulations affecting intellectual property and licensing.<br>• Handle confidential and sensitive information with discretion and professionalism.<br>• Address inquiries and resolve issues related to licensing agreements promptly and effectively.

• Proven experience in intellectual property law and licensing agreements.<br>• Strong knowledge of legal standards in the biotech industry.<br>• Exceptional drafting, negotiation, and communication skills.<br>• Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet tight deadlines.<br>• Familiarity with regulatory requirements related to intellectual property.<br>• Experience collaborating with diverse teams and stakeholders.<br>• High attention to detail and strong analytical capabilities.<br>• Juris Doctor (JD) degree and active law license in good standing.
