Accounts Receivable Specialist
We are looking for an experienced Accounts Receivable Specialist to join our team in Valencia, California. This is a long-term contract position, offering an excellent opportunity to contribute to key financial processes and ensure smooth operations. If you have a strong background in handling accounts receivable, cash applications, and commercial collections, we encourage you to apply.<br><br>Responsibilities:<br>• Process and manage accounts receivable transactions to maintain accurate financial records.<br>• Handle cash applications with precision, ensuring timely allocation of payments.<br>• Oversee commercial collections activities, including follow-ups and resolving outstanding balances.<br>• Prepare and issue invoices, ensuring accuracy in billing functions.<br>• Monitor daily cash activity and reconcile discrepancies to maintain financial accuracy.<br>• Collaborate with other departments to streamline billing and cash management processes.<br>• Generate reports and provide insights on receivable trends to support decision-making.<br>• Ensure compliance with company policies and regulatory requirements in all financial operations.<br>• Address customer inquiries related to billing and payments with attention to detail and in a timely manner.
• Minimum of 3 years of experience in accounts receivable or related financial roles.<br>• Proficiency in managing cash applications and resolving discrepancies.<br>• Strong expertise in commercial collections, including negotiation and follow-up.<br>• Familiarity with billing functions and financial reporting.<br>• Ability to monitor and analyze cash activity effectively.<br>• Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills.<br>• Strong communication skills for interacting with clients and internal teams.<br>• Proficiency in relevant accounting software and tools.
