Accounts Receivable Clerk
We are looking for an experienced Accounts Receivable Clerk to join a dynamic team in Signal Hill, California. In this contract role, you will play a key part in managing financial transactions, ensuring timely collections, and maintaining accurate records to support business objectives. This position requires a proactive, detail-oriented individual who thrives in a fast-paced environment and demonstrates exceptional communication and organizational skills.<br><br>Responsibilities:<br>• Reconcile credit card statements and ensure accuracy in financial records.<br>• Process month-end financial transactions and prepare related reports.<br>• Handle daily bank deposits and maintain proper documentation.<br>• Conduct credit and collection calls to arrange payment plans.<br>• Collaborate with branch staff to address past-due accounts and improve collections.<br>• Assist with credit applications and ensure compliance with company policies.<br>• Provide exceptional customer service to retain clients and address inquiries.<br>• Release sales orders in alignment with departmental guidelines.<br>• Document payment arrangements and communicate credit policies clearly.<br>• Support management in achieving departmental and company-wide financial goals.
• Minimum of 2 years of experience in accounts receivable or related financial roles.<br>• Proficiency in credit card reconciliations and cash applications.<br>• Strong knowledge of commercial collections and billing functions.<br>• Familiarity with aging accounts and reports.<br>• Excellent communication skills for interacting with clients and internal teams.<br>• Ability to multi-task and manage priorities in a fast-paced setting.<br>• Demonstrated organizational skills and attention to detail.<br>• Proven ability to maintain professionalism and confidentiality in financial matters.
