Assistant Property Manager
We are looking for an organized and detail-oriented Assistant Property Manager to join our team on a contract basis in San Francisco, California. In this role, you will play a key part in overseeing property administration while supporting affordable housing operations. This position is ideal for someone with a background in property management and a passion for working in the non-profit sector.<br><br>Responsibilities:<br>• Assist in the daily management of residential and commercial properties, ensuring smooth operations and tenant satisfaction.<br>• Handle leasing processes, including inquiries, applications, and lease agreements.<br>• Conduct tax recertification procedures for affordable housing units and maintain compliance with regulations.<br>• Utilize Yardi software to manage property records, financial transactions, and tenant information.<br>• Coordinate property maintenance and repairs, ensuring issues are resolved promptly.<br>• Communicate effectively with tenants to address concerns and provide excellent customer service.<br>• Prepare reports related to property performance, occupancy, and financial metrics.<br>• Support the enforcement of lease terms and property rules to maintain a safe and functional environment.<br>• Manage administrative tasks such as filing, documentation, and correspondence.<br>• Collaborate with the property management team to implement strategies for maximizing occupancy and revenue.
• Proven experience in property management, with a focus on residential or commercial properties.<br>• Familiarity with affordable housing regulations and tax recertification processes.<br>• Proficiency in using Yardi software for property administration and financial management.<br>• Strong organizational and multitasking skills to handle various property-related tasks.<br>• Effective communication skills, both verbal and written, for interacting with tenants and team members.<br>• Ability to manage leasing processes and maintain accurate documentation.<br>• Knowledge of maintenance coordination and property upkeep.<br>• Background in the non-profit sector is a plus, but not required.
