The ideal candidate will have a background in dealership settings and a strong understanding of bookkeeping principles.<br><br>Responsibilities:<br>• Process semi-monthly payroll for approximately 70 employees accurately and on time.<br>• Prepare detailed payroll reports for various departments to ensure transparency and compliance.<br>• Maintain and update group time and labor software to track employee hours effectively.<br>• Monitor and document compliance with mandatory training programs, certifications, and workplace assessments.<br>• Conduct background checks and employee eligibility verifications as part of the onboarding process.<br>• Facilitate new employee orientation and ensure a smooth onboarding experience for new team members.<br>• Administer HR programs such as compensation, benefits, leaves, and workers’ compensation.<br>• Address employment-related inquiries from employees, managers, and applicants while providing guidance on HR policies.<br>• Participate in employee disciplinary meetings, investigations, and terminations when necessary.<br>• Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws by reviewing and updating policies regularly.
