Office Manager
<p>We are looking for a dedicated Office Manager to join our team in San Diego, California. In this long-term contract position, you will play a key role in ensuring smooth administrative operations within a healthcare setting, assisting patients and clinicians alike. This role offers an opportunity to work collaboratively with medical professionals while providing essential support to patients undergoing treatment.</p><p><br></p><p>Responsibilities:</p><p>• Coordinate patient schedules, including appointments with clinicians and monthly psychiatrist visits.</p><p>• Track clinician schedules for auditing purposes and maintain accurate records.</p><p>• Assist patients by checking them in, guiding them to their appointments, and providing necessary forms.</p><p>• Manage data entry tasks, including adding new patients to tracking systems and updating relevant grids.</p><p>• Communicate effectively with state hospitals and external laboratories to support patient care.</p><p>• Facilitate year-end drug screenings and monthly lab work by coordinating with Labcorp.</p><p>• Support patients applying for social security benefits by completing and submitting required paperwork.</p><p>• Handle billing processes during patient visits, ensuring accurate financial entries.</p><p>• Monitor progress for patients and provide updates to the department as needed.</p><p>• Answer inbound calls and address inquiries promptly while maintaining professionalism.</p>
• Proficiency in medical software such as Allscripts, Cerner Technologies, Dentrix Dental Software, Eaglesoft, and EHR systems.<br>• Strong organizational skills to manage schedules and track patient progress effectively.<br>• Excellent communication abilities, both verbal and written, for interacting with patients and healthcare professionals.<br>• Experience in billing functions and data entry within a healthcare setting.<br>• Familiarity with clinical trial operations and medical charting techniques.<br>• Ability to handle inbound calls and respond to inquiries with a high level of attention to detail.<br>• Knowledge of coordinating with external laboratories and healthcare institutions.<br>• Attention to detail for completing forms and maintaining accurate patient records.
