Receptionist
We are looking for an experienced Receptionist to join our team on a contract basis in New York, New York. This role is ideal for someone with a meticulous demeanor, excellent communication skills, and a strong ability to manage multi-line phone systems efficiently. As the first point of contact, you will play a vital role in ensuring smooth daily operations and providing exceptional service to visitors and callers.<br><br>Responsibilities:<br>• Greet visitors warmly and manage the check-in process with attention to detail.<br>• Handle incoming calls using a multi-line phone system, directing them promptly to the appropriate departments.<br>• Maintain an organized and tidy reception area, ensuring a welcoming environment.<br>• Provide accurate information to callers and visitors about company services and operations.<br>• Manage and distribute incoming mail and packages effectively.<br>• Support administrative tasks, including scheduling appointments and maintaining records.<br>• Coordinate with internal teams to address visitor needs or inquiries.<br>• Monitor and manage office supplies inventory for the reception area.<br>• Ensure compliance with company policies and procedures at the front desk.
• Minimum of 2 years of experience as a receptionist or in a similar role.<br>• Proficiency in handling multi-line phone systems and switchboards with up to 10 lines.<br>• Strong verbal and written communication skills.<br>• Exceptional organizational and multitasking abilities.<br>• A composed demeanor with attention to detail.<br>• Ability to deliver excellent customer service in a fast-paced environment.<br>• Familiarity with basic office equipment and software, such as Microsoft Office.<br>• Availability to work part-time hours as required by the contract position.
