Payroll Specialist
We are looking for a skilled Payroll Specialist to join our team on a contract basis in New York, New York. This role involves managing comprehensive payroll operations for U.S.-based employees, ensuring accuracy and compliance in all processes. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in payroll systems and a keen ability to address inquiries and resolve payroll-related matters effectively.<br><br>Responsibilities:<br>• Process bi-weekly payroll for U.S. employees, ensuring timely and accurate completion.<br>• Handle onboarding activities for new hires, including payroll setup and documentation.<br>• Calculate and process commission payouts, retroactive payments, and adjustments.<br>• Maintain and update payroll records and spreadsheets to ensure data integrity.<br>• Respond promptly to employee inquiries regarding payroll, benefits, and related issues.<br>• Ensure compliance with multi-state payroll regulations, including garnishments and tax filings.<br>• Collaborate with HR and finance teams to streamline payroll processes and resolve discrepancies.<br>• Utilize ADP Workforce Now and Workday systems to manage payroll operations efficiently.<br>• Prepare and review payroll reports to identify and address discrepancies.<br>• Stay informed about payroll laws and regulations to ensure compliance.
• Proven experience in full-cycle payroll processing for 500+ employees.<br>• Expertise in multi-state payroll administration and compliance.<br>• Proficiency in ADP Workforce Now and familiarity with Workday systems.<br>• Strong knowledge of payroll regulations, including garnishments and tax requirements.<br>• Ability to calculate commissions, retroactive payments, and other adjustments accurately.<br>• Excellent organizational and time management skills to handle deadlines.<br>• Strong communication skills to address payroll-related inquiries effectively.<br>• Familiarity with HRIS payroll systems and benefits integration.
