We are looking for skilled Accounting Specialists to join our team on a contract basis in Minneapolis, Minnesota. In this role, you will play a vital part in ensuring accurate financial postings, reconciling accounts, and supporting commission-related processes. This position offers an excellent opportunity to contribute to the efficiency of the accounting department. Responsibilities: • Process commission statements and ensure accurate financial postings to client accounts. • Retrieve funds from carriers and apply them to relevant client accounts. • Support the sales team by ensuring commission credits are applied accurately and on time. • Handle accounts payable and accounts receivable tasks with precision. • Perform account reconciliations to maintain accuracy and consistency in financial records. • Execute billing functions, including invoice preparation and distribution. • Collaborate with team members to streamline accounting operations and meet deadlines. • Maintain compliance with financial regulations and company policies. • Identify and resolve discrepancies in financial data effectively.

• Proven experience in accounts payable (AP) and accounts receivable (AR) functions. • Strong knowledge of billing processes and account reconciliation. • Familiarity with general accounting principles and practices. • Attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently. • Proficiency in financial systems and tools. • Excellent organizational and communication skills. • Ability to work both independently and collaboratively in a team environment. • Prior experience in handling commission-related processes is a plus.
