Accounts Receivable Specialist
We are looking for an Accounts Receivable Specialist to join our team in Saint Paul, Minnesota. This contract role is ideal for someone with strong expertise in managing financial transactions and ensuring accurate account reconciliations. You will play a key part in overseeing billing processes, collections, and cash applications to maintain smooth financial operations.<br><br>Responsibilities:<br>• Process and manage accounts receivable transactions, ensuring accuracy and timeliness.<br>• Handle cash applications, including posting payments and reconciling discrepancies.<br>• Oversee commercial collections by following up with clients on outstanding balances.<br>• Prepare and issue invoices, ensuring compliance with billing guidelines.<br>• Monitor and report on cash activity to maintain financial visibility.<br>• Collaborate with internal teams to resolve billing or payment-related issues.<br>• Maintain detailed records of accounts receivable processes and updates.<br>• Assist in month-end closing activities related to accounts receivable.<br>• Provide insights and recommendations for improving AR processes.<br>• Ensure adherence to financial policies and accounting standards.
• Proven experience in accounts receivable management.<br>• Strong knowledge of cash applications and commercial collections.<br>• Proficiency in handling billing functions and reconciling accounts.<br>• Familiarity with monitoring and reporting on cash activity.<br>• Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills.<br>• Ability to communicate effectively with clients and internal teams.<br>• Proficiency in financial software and tools.<br>• Commitment to maintaining high standards of accuracy and compliance.
