We are looking for an experienced HR Director to join our team on a long-term contract basis in Lakewood, New Jersey. In this role, you will play a pivotal part in overseeing payroll operations, benefits administration, and compliance efforts. You will lead initiatives to enhance employee performance, manage compensation strategies, and ensure adherence to HR regulations. This role will be fully onsite in Lakewood (4 days a week). This is a contract opportunity expected to be about 3-6 months. Responsibilities:• Manage and oversee payroll reporting processes to ensure accurate and timely submissions.• Administer employee benefit programs, ensuring proper implementation and communication.• Develop and monitor performance review systems to drive organizational growth and employee development.• Handle workers' compensation claims efficiently, ensuring compliance with legal requirements.• Create and manage KPIs and dashboards to track HR metrics and performance.• Ensure compliance with all local, state, and federal employment laws and regulations.• Foster positive employee relations by addressing concerns and maintaining a productive workplace environment.• Design and implement compensation and benefits strategies that align with company goals.• Provide leadership and guidance on HR policies and procedures to support business objectives.

• Proven expertise in employee relations and fostering a collaborative workplace environment. • Strong knowledge of benefits administration, including health, retirement, and other employee programs. • Extensive experience in HR administration and payroll management. • Demonstrated ability to manage compensation strategies effectively. • In-depth understanding of compliance with employment laws and regulations. • Proficiency in developing performance management systems and tracking KPIs. • Excellent communication and leadership skills. • Ability to handle sensitive employee matters with discretion and professionalism.
