We are seeking a detail-oriented Accounts Payable Specialist to join our team in North Fort Worth, Texas. This Contract-to-Permanent role is responsible for managing full-cycle accounts payable while serving as a key partner to project, procurement, and accounting teams. The position oversees invoice processing, purchase order and subcontract agreement matching, vendor communications, and supports financial reporting. Responsibilities:• Review and verify invoices, ensuring accuracy in coding and compliance with company policies.• Process payments through various methods, including Automated Clearing House (ACH) transfers and check runs.• Perform three-way matching of purchase orders, invoices, and receipts to maintain data consistency.• Enter and maintain invoices in accounting systems, ensuring all records are up to date.• Collaborate with vendors to resolve discrepancies and address payment issues promptly.• Prepare and reconcile payable reports to support month-end closing activities.• Manage purchase orders and ensure proper documentation for all financial transactions.• Utilize QuickBooks Online for tracking and maintaining accounts payable records.• Assist in improving accounts payable workflows to enhance efficiency and accuracy.

• Strong experience in accounts payable functions, including invoice processing and account coding.• Proficiency in handling ACH payments and check runs.• Familiarity with three-way matching processes involving purchase orders, invoices, and receipts.• Demonstrated ability to enter and manage invoices accurately in accounting systems.• Hands-on experience with QuickBooks Online is strongly preferred.• Excellent problem-solving skills for resolving vendor discrepancies and payment issues.• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills to manage multiple tasks effectively.• Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment
