We are looking for a detail-oriented Accounting Specialist to join our team on a contract basis in Anoka, Minnesota. This role focuses on supporting key financial processes, ensuring accuracy in transactions, and maintaining efficient workflows. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in accounting functions and be adept at handling both accounts payable and receivable tasks. Responsibilities: • Process and manage accounts payable and accounts receivable transactions with accuracy and efficiency. • Perform account reconciliations to ensure financial records are balanced and up-to-date. • Handle billing functions, including preparing invoices and resolving discrepancies. • Maintain organized records of financial data and transactions. • Assist with general accounting tasks to support the team’s operations. • Identify and address errors or inconsistencies in financial data. • Collaborate with team members to streamline accounting processes. • Ensure compliance with financial regulations and company policies. • Provide timely and accurate reporting as required by management.

• Proven experience in accounts payable and accounts receivable processes. • Familiarity with billing functions and account reconciliation. • Solid understanding of general accounting principles. • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills. • Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Office tools. • Excellent communication skills to collaborate effectively with team members. • Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks. • Previous experience in a similar role is highly preferred.
