<p>Robert Half is actively looking to hire a determined Accounting Specialist for a recognized company. The primary tasks of the Accounting Specialist will be assisting in the process of Accounts Payable (A/P) and Accounts Receivable (A/R), matching invoices to purchase orders and/or vouchers, and general forms of data entry. This is a long term temporary / contract to hire employment opportunity.</p><p> </p><p>Responsibilities</p><p>- General accounting and administration assistance: help with G/L account reconciliation and month-end closing, other ad hoc projects</p><p>- Rectify transaction documents, which may involve alteration of other documents or entries as well as the original; may initiate other actions</p><p>- Transmit financial information to journals, registers, and ledgers, manually or by electronic equipment</p><p>- Support Accounts Receivable: apply cash receipt, help with collection of past due balance, process daily invoices/credit</p><p>- Assemble documents that require knowledge in determining proper classification of accounting codes and expenditure codes</p><p>- Prepare statements and reports that require utilization of a number of sources</p><p>- Help with control of budgets by monitoring budgets and originating or verifying adjustments and transfers</p><p>- Work with Accounts Payable: A/P invoice matching & filing, vendor invoices and disbursement filing</p><p>- Harmonize discrepancies by checking all possible sources of disagreement, reconstructing probable actions, and recognizing the effect on other accounts; prepare correction documents as required</p><p> </p><p>*Please note that all candidates are required to provide 2 recent supervisor or manager references in order to be considered for employment.</p><p> </p><p>Please submit your resume and call 651-293-3973 for review and consideration. </p>

<p>- AA or BS/BA in Accounting preferred</p><p>- Ability to multitask and meet deadlines</p><p>- Entry-level applicants considered</p><p>- Data entry, document management, file creation and previous records experience required</p><p>- Solid understanding of account analysis</p><p>- Strong familiarity with compliance</p><p>- Microsoft Excel experience</p><p>- Proven knowledge of SAP </p>
