We are looking for a detail-oriented Staff Accountant to join our team in Tampa, Florida. This is a long-term contract position offering an excellent opportunity to contribute to financial operations while enhancing your expertise. The role requires strong accounting skills and a solid understanding of financial processes to ensure accurate reporting and compliance. Responsibilities: • Manage billing operations and ensure timely and accurate processing. • Handle accounts payable and accounts receivable functions with precision. • Perform general ledger maintenance, including journal entries and balancing accounts. • Conduct reconciliations to ensure financial accuracy and integrity. • Assist in month-end close processes by preparing reports and verifying data. • Analyze debits and credits to maintain proper accounting procedures. • Collaborate with team members to ensure seamless financial operations. • Utilize accounting software such as NetSuite, Oracle, QuickBooks, and SAP to streamline workflows. • Support the transition to new accounting software and adapt processes accordingly.

• Proven experience in accounts payable and accounts receivable management. • Strong knowledge of bank reconciliations and general ledger processes. • Expertise in creating and posting journal entries. • Familiarity with month-end closing procedures and reporting. • Proficiency in accounting software such as NetSuite, Oracle, QuickBooks, or SAP. • Ability to analyze financial data and identify discrepancies. • Excellent organizational and time-management skills. • Strong understanding of debits and credits in accounting practices.
