Staff Accountant with growing non-profit
<p>Robert Half is currently recruiting on behalf of our client for a non-profit staff Accountant to join a dynamic finance and administration team. This role is ideal for an accounting professional who is detail-oriented, thrives in a fast-paced environment, and enjoys working with grant funding and compliance. The selected accountant will perform the accounting and compliance for grants and designated funds, ensuring accurate financial reporting and proper use of resources. The selected accountant will collaborate across the organization to support both internal teams and external funding requirements. <p>Our client will consider two candidate profiles:</p><ol><li>Bachelor’s degree in accounting with at least 2 years of general accounting experience.</li><li>Or a minimum of 8 years of general bookkeeping experience, with a strong emphasis on accounts payable and exceptional attention to detail.</li></ol><p>In addition:</p><ul><li>Proficiency with general bookkeeping functions such as journal entries, reconciliations, and ledger maintenance.</li><li>Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple deadlines.</li><li>Proficiency with Microsoft Office and accounting systems.</li><li>Ability to work effectively with diverse populations and in a mission-driven environment.</li></ul><p><br></p>
