We are looking for an Accounts Receivable Specialist to join our team in Sarasota, Florida. This is a contract-to-permanent position in the motor retail industry, offering an excellent opportunity to contribute to financial operations while expanding your expertise. The role requires a proactive individual who can efficiently manage various tasks related to accounts receivable and cash application. Responsibilities: • Process and apply cash transactions accurately within the Syspro system. • Monitor multiple email inboxes to ensure timely communication and resolution of issues. • Run credit card payments and handle billing processes to support accounts receivable operations. • Utilize Salesforce for customer relationship management and data tracking. • Perform various administrative tasks to assist the accounts receivable team. • Maintain and analyze data using Excel to support reporting and reconciliation. • Ensure compliance with accounting standards and company procedures. • Collaborate with internal teams to address and resolve discrepancies in receivables. • Provide support for other accounting functions as needed.

• Prior experience in accounts receivable or a related accounting role. • Proficiency in accounting software systems, including Syspro. • Familiarity with CRM tools such as Salesforce. • Strong knowledge of billing functions and cash activity processes. • Ability to process checks and manage payment transactions efficiently. • Advanced Excel skills for data analysis and reporting. • Excellent organizational and multitasking abilities. • Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
