Receptionist
We are looking for an organized and detail-oriented Receptionist to join our team on a short-term contract basis. This position is based in New York, New York, and requires someone who can effectively manage a fast-paced environment while delivering excellent customer service. The role involves handling key administrative tasks and serving as the first point of contact for clients.<br><br>Responsibilities:<br>• Answer and manage heavy inbound calls using a multi-line phone system efficiently.<br>• Welcome clients and visitors with a courteous demeanor and ensure they are directed appropriately.<br>• Schedule and coordinate appointments using an appointment calendar system.<br>• Perform general office tasks such as making copies, organizing files, and maintaining a tidy workspace.<br>• Handle email correspondence and ensure timely responses to inquiries.<br>• Assist with data entry and maintain accurate records.<br>• Collaborate with team members to support daily office operations.<br>• Utilize Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook to prepare documents and manage communication.<br>• Deliver exceptional customer service by addressing client needs promptly and courteously.<br>• Adapt to additional administrative responsibilities as required.
• Prior experience managing a multi-line phone system in a detail-oriented environment.<br>• Strong customer service skills with the ability to interact effectively with clients.<br>• Familiarity with scheduling and appointment calendar software.<br>• Previous experience working as a receptionist in a law firm is preferred.<br>• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, including Word, Excel, and Outlook.<br>• Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.<br>• Ability to handle email communication and data entry tasks efficiently.<br>• Strong interpersonal skills to collaborate with team members and assist clients.
