HR Generalist
We are looking for a skilled HR Generalist to join our team in Irvine, California, on a long-term contract basis. This role offers an exciting opportunity to manage diverse human resources functions, ensuring smooth operations and compliance with state and federal regulations. The ideal candidate will be proactive, detail-oriented, and committed to fostering a positive workplace environment.<br><br>Responsibilities:<br>• Process payroll and oversee employee benefits, including bonuses, leave administration, and absence management.<br>• Organize and maintain both physical and digital employee records for easy accessibility.<br>• Prepare reports and documentation related to performance evaluations and HR metrics.<br>• Conduct employee satisfaction surveys and provide actionable recommendations to improve workplace experiences.<br>• Address employee concerns and resolve HR-related issues in a timely and effective manner.<br>• Communicate with external public services as needed to support HR operations.<br>• Ensure compliance with company policies, safety procedures, and federal labor laws.<br>• Manage recruitment processes by reviewing resumes, updating databases, and planning onboarding strategies.<br>• Develop and execute employee orientation programs to enhance early employee experiences.<br>• Conduct exit interviews, analyze feedback, and implement improvements based on findings.
• Proven experience in human resources administration and employee relations.<br>• Proficiency in HR software, including HRIS systems such as Paylocity.<br>• Strong knowledge of onboarding practices and benefit functions.<br>• Familiarity with federal and state labor laws and compliance requirements.<br>• Excellent organizational skills to manage employee records and documentation.<br>• Ability to conduct surveys, analyze data, and provide actionable insights.<br>• Effective communication and problem-solving skills to support employee needs.<br>• Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field is preferred.
