Customer Service Representative
We are looking for a dedicated Customer Service Representative to join our team in Irvine, California. In this role, you will be responsible for delivering exceptional support to clients and stakeholders by addressing inquiries and resolving issues efficiently. This is a Contract-to-Permanent position, offering an exciting opportunity to contribute to a dynamic work environment in the Health Pharm/Biotech industry.<br><br>Responsibilities:<br>• Respond promptly to customer inquiries, ensuring accurate and detail-oriented communication.<br>• Investigate and resolve customer issues by collaborating with various internal departments.<br>• Utilize multiple internal systems to manage client accounts and deliver high-quality service.<br>• Provide feedback to management on service challenges or customer concerns to drive improvements.<br>• Participate in special projects and tasks assigned by leadership.<br>• Manage customer accounts, including order processing, shipping coordination, and troubleshooting.<br>• Ensure thorough follow-up with customers to confirm resolution and satisfaction.<br>• Maintain detailed records of interactions and transactions, ensuring data accuracy.<br>• Support process improvement initiatives by identifying areas for efficiency enhancements.<br>• Handle mandatory overtime as required to meet business needs.
• Bachelor’s degree in science or a related field is preferred; some college coursework accepted.<br>• 3-5 years of experience in a demanding customer service or relationship management role.<br>• Familiarity with manufacturing customer service processes, such as order management and delivery.<br>• Knowledge of Lean Process Improvement methodologies is a plus.<br>• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and experience with PC-based systems.<br>• Strong interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills.<br>• Exceptional attention to detail and ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.<br>• Problem-solving expertise, coupled with excellent listening and follow-through abilities.
