Payroll Administrator
We are looking for a skilled Payroll Administrator to join our team on a contract basis in Castroville, California. In this role, you will be responsible for ensuring the accurate and timely processing of weekly payroll for over 60 employees within a dynamic construction environment. This position is ideal for someone with a strong background in payroll systems and an ability to handle sensitive information with discretion.<br><br>Responsibilities:<br>• Process weekly payroll for 60+ employees, ensuring accuracy and timeliness.<br>• Verify and review timesheets to ensure compliance with company policies and labor regulations.<br>• Generate payroll-related reports and address any discrepancies promptly.<br>• Uphold strict confidentiality regarding employee and payroll information.<br>• Coordinate with HR and accounting teams to resolve payroll-related issues.<br>• Utilize Sage 300 Payroll software to manage payroll operations efficiently.<br>• Ensure compliance with wage laws and industry standards.<br>• Assist in maintaining and organizing payroll records for audit purposes.<br>• Provide support during internal payroll system transitions, if applicable.<br>• Adapt quickly to the needs of a fast-paced construction environment.
• At least 3 years of experience in payroll administration.<br>• Expertise in Sage 300 Payroll is required.<br>• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.<br>• Ability to meet tight deadlines while maintaining accuracy.<br>• Excellent communication skills to collaborate with multiple departments.<br>• Familiarity with payroll policies and multi-state wage laws.<br>• Experience handling payroll for 100-500 employees is preferred.<br>• Proficiency in ADP Workforce Now or similar payroll systems is a plus.
