We are looking for an experienced Full Charge Bookkeeper to join our team in San Jose, California, on a contract basis. This role requires a detail-oriented individual with strong expertise in managing financial records and processes, ensuring accurate and efficient bookkeeping practices. If you excel in working with QuickBooks and handling accounts payable, accounts receivable, and reconciliations, we encourage you to apply.<br><br>Responsibilities:<br>• Maintain comprehensive financial records, ensuring accuracy and compliance with established standards.<br>• Utilize QuickBooks to process and manage bookkeeping tasks efficiently.<br>• Handle accounts payable and accounts receivable, ensuring timely payments and collections.<br>• Perform bank reconciliations to verify and resolve discrepancies.<br>• Prepare financial reports and statements to support business decision-making.<br>• Monitor and update accounting systems to ensure all transactions are accurately recorded.<br>• Collaborate with internal teams to provide financial insights and maintain transparency.<br>• Assist with audits and ensure proper documentation is available when required.<br>• Identify and implement improvements to streamline bookkeeping processes.<br>• Stay updated on relevant financial regulations and best practices.
• Proven experience as a Full Charge Bookkeeper or in a similar role.<br>• Proficiency in QuickBooks with a strong understanding of its functionalities.<br>• Solid knowledge of accounts payable and accounts receivable processes.<br>• Expertise in performing bank reconciliations with attention to detail.<br>• Ability to prepare accurate financial reports and statements.<br>• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.<br>• Excellent organizational and time management abilities.<br>• Knowledge of relevant accounting principles and regulations.
