Receptionist
We are looking for a detail-oriented and organized Receptionist to join our team in Cambridge, Massachusetts. This is a 100% onsite contract position with regular working hours from Monday to Friday, including scheduled breaks and a lunch hour. The ideal candidate will play a vital role in ensuring smooth daily operations and providing excellent service to both staff and visitors.<br><br>Responsibilities:<br>• Manage the creation and tracking of work orders to ensure tasks are completed efficiently.<br>• Act as the primary contact for checking in guests attending events and provide necessary assistance.<br>• Register visitors and issue badges to maintain security and identification protocols.<br>• Distribute parking passes as required, ensuring proper documentation and organization.<br>• Handle a multi-line phone system to answer calls and direct inquiries effectively.<br>• Maintain accurate records through data entry and file organization.<br>• Coordinate appointments and schedules to support daily operations.<br>• Respond to emails promptly and courteously, ensuring clear communication.<br>• Provide exceptional customer service to visitors and staff, addressing their needs with a positive attitude.<br>• Utilize Microsoft Office tools, including Word, Excel, and Outlook, for administrative tasks.
• Proven experience in handling multi-line phone systems.<br>• Strong background in customer service and interpersonal communication.<br>• Proficiency in data entry and maintaining organized records.<br>• Ability to effectively manage email correspondence with attention to detail.<br>• Skilled in using Microsoft Office applications such as Excel, Word, and Outlook.<br>• Capable of scheduling appointments and managing calendars efficiently.<br>• Exceptional organizational skills for managing files and administrative tasks.<br>• Positive attitude and detail-oriented approach in interactions with guests and team members.
