<p>We are looking for a skilled Attorney/Lawyer with expertise in commercial real estate transactions to join an AMLAW team in Washington, District of Columbia. In this role, you will work closely with clients to provide legal counsel on a variety of real estate matters, including acquisitions, financing, and development projects. This position requires a collaborative individual who can manage complex deals and deliver strategic solutions.</p><p><br></p><p>Responsibilities:</p><p>• Provide legal counsel on commercial real estate transactions, including acquisitions, dispositions, financings, and development projects.</p><p>• Draft, negotiate, and review complex agreements such as joint venture contracts, purchase and sale agreements, and loan documents.</p><p>• Offer strategic advice to clients, including developers, investors, REITs, private equity firms, and lenders, on deal structuring and market trends.</p><p>• Oversee all phases of transaction execution, from initial term sheet discussions through to closing, with minimal oversight.</p><p>• Coordinate with internal teams, such as tax, corporate, and land use practices, to deliver integrated legal solutions for clients.</p>

<p>• Juris Doctor (J.D.) degree from an accredited law school and active bar membership, with eligibility for D.C. Bar admission.</p><p>• At least 4–8 years of experience in commercial real estate law within a law firm environment.</p><p>• Strong expertise in structuring joint ventures, acquisitions, dispositions, development, and financing transactions.</p><p>• Exceptional drafting and negotiation skills, with a proven ability to manage client relationships effectively.</p><p>• Solid understanding of capital structuring and risk allocation in real estate transactions.</p><p><br></p><p>For regular updates on the job market in Washington, D.C., connect with Desirae Luna on LinkedIn.</p>
