Sr. Accountant
We are looking for an experienced Senior Accountant to join our team in Vancouver, Washington. This Contract to permanent position offers an excellent opportunity for a skilled individual to contribute to financial operations and grow within the organization. The ideal candidate will bring expertise in accounting processes and systems, ensuring accuracy and efficiency in financial reporting.<br><br>Responsibilities:<br>• Manage month-end close processes, ensuring timely and accurate completion.<br>• Maintain and oversee the general ledger, ensuring all entries are properly recorded.<br>• Prepare and post journal entries in alignment with accounting standards.<br>• Perform account reconciliations to verify accuracy and resolve discrepancies.<br>• Conduct bank reconciliations to ensure financial records align with bank statements.<br>• Handle property and intercompany accounting transactions effectively.<br>• Process and analyze intercompany transactions to maintain accurate accounts.<br>• Utilize QuickBooks and Microsoft Excel for financial tracking and reporting.<br>• Collaborate with team members to streamline accounting workflows and processes.<br>• Provide insights and recommendations to improve financial operations.
• Proven experience in month-end close procedures and general ledger management.<br>• Proficiency in preparing journal entries and performing account reconciliations.<br>• Strong knowledge of bank reconciliation processes.<br>• Demonstrated expertise in property and intercompany accounting.<br>• Familiarity with QuickBooks and advanced skills in Microsoft Excel.<br>• Ability to manage intercompany transactions with accuracy.<br>• Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities.<br>• Strong communication and organizational skills to work effectively within a team.
